In the early days when Julia started traveling the world to teach, this project was one of her hosts’ favorite picks for class, in part because it demonstrates a lot of techniques. This trio was a redo of bud vases made for Julia’s first teaching trips to Italy and Spain. If you look closely, you’ll see wet-on-wet marbling, stenciling, and needlepoint in use.
