The first tutorial (pictured below, left) focuses on airbrushing/stenciling techniques and utilizes some of my Dynamic Duos™ stencil sets, but you can, of course, use any other valentines-y stencils in your stash and the same cookie box construction to get equally beautiful results. In case you were wondering, yes, this box is obviously also 3-D even though “3-D” doesn’t appear in its project title. However, only its sides are contoured, whereas in the second project (pictured below, right), both its top and bottom are contoured cookies, making it more fully 3-D! The second tutorial also explores easy embossing and molding techniques used to make the elaborate gilded cookie elements on the box tops. But in both cases, you’ll learn many more techniques, all of which are described in the detailed video listings (see links above).
