Description
Julia always loves to bring an element of surprise to her cookies, and this project does just that. Now you can have your cake (stand cookie) and eat it too! Whether you choose to load the stand with store-bought sweets or to go all out with Julia’s companion 3-D cake cookie on top, making the cake stand just by itself will teach you so many valuable techniques – all of which can be used in countless other 3-D and 2-D cookie projects. Another plus: Julia shows how to create two stand styles in this one tutorial!
Once you’ve purchased, you’ll automatically receive a receipt with a link to a downloadable handout, including three recipes, sources, and extensive technique tips. Then, simply return to this page to view the tutorial as often and for as long as you like. If you are logged into the site, the sneak peek video above will disappear and be replaced with the full-length video. To log in, simply go to the upper right account area of the site (in laptop viewing mode), and enter the username and password you created at the time of purchase.
Note: The 3-D cookie cake that appears on some of the cake stands in the sneak peek video is a project unto itself, and is covered in Julia’s companion video tutorial. See “MORE LIKE THIS” below for more information.
