Let’s zoom in a bit on the lovely lotus flowers that Julia created for Creative Cookier’s 2019 cookie cruise, just so you can better take in all of their glorious details. Once again, Julia relied on the piecework technique, meaning she individually piped all of the petals, buds, flower centers, stems, and so forth. Once dry, these royal icing pieces were airbrushed in characteristic lotus colors and then oh-so-carefully assembled. What a labor of love, but the splendid result was so worth it!
