It most certainly was! Because both Julia’s mom and gramma prefer more dirt under their nails than polish on top, a rustic garden theme for their joint birthday party seemed super fitting. In keeping with that theme, the invitation was a near-replica of the Farmers’ Almanac, complete with its classic clutter of graphics. If you look closely, you’ll see that it had photos of the ladies “growing” gracefully through the seasons and a zone map depicting the various places from which friends and family traveled for the event. Julia masterminded the invitation, and St. Louis-area graphic designer Diann Cage brought it to life.
