As always, Julia likes to change up photo angles whenever she shoots, even if just to put more visual emphasis on a particular cookie in a set. Here, the focus is on the all-stamped cookie in the foreground. Its floral background was created by directly stamping on the cookie icing, whereas the dimensional elements on top were stamped on fondant, cut out, and then arranged on the cookie top. For the very soft coloring throughout, Julia applied compressed petal dust with a dry paintbrush. For an in-depth video tutorial showing how these cookies were made, check out Julia’s YouTube channel, and for Julia’s recommended tools, see the “RELATED PRODUCTS” links.
