Let’s come a tad closer to Julia’s 3-D lizard cookies so you can better appreciate their “skin”. Creating it was a multistep process for Julia. First, she embossed cookie dough with the SugarVeil Mesh Mat; then she cut, contoured (or otherwise shaped), and baked that dough. Next, she spritzed the cooled pieces with pearl sheen to add luster and, lastly, she painted in various shades of green to lend depth and interest.
