Wondering if it’s a wedding cake?! Well, it’s not. It’s nearly 100-percent cookie – and a fun alternative to traditional bridal fare. The added plus is that it has little to no royal icing on it, so no messy color mixing and cleanup. All of the interesting patterns on the sides are the result of either stenciling on naked cookies or rubber-stamping on fondant. And the flowers are molded tinted cookie dough with the exception of a few small royal icing roses. To learn how to make it, see this video, where Julia addresses the shaping and decorating of the sides, and this video for assembly tips.
