Literally! That’s where these yummy 3-D beauties should be – after they’re admired, of course! To make them, Julia glued two marbled butterfly wings together at an angle using thick royal icing, and then propped the wings until the icing dried. Small icing-filled cookie sandwiches, similar to those in her caterpillar project (shown elsewhere in this gallery), were used for the segments of each butterfly’s body.
