What a fun SugarVeil mat! The pattern is supposed to emulate blades of grass, but it’s so interesting and versatile that it can dress up almost anything. In the spring of one year, Julia used it to make fanciful flower-and-leaf cupcake toppers (depicted in the last three photos in the gallery). She spread multiple colors of SugarVeil Confectionery Icing in the mats, let it dry, unmolded it, and then cut and shaped it into flowers and leaves.
