Yet another testament to the flexibility provided by Julia’s innovative layered stencils sets! For these cookies, Julia decided to skip the striped and starry background stencil in her God Bless America Dynamic Duos™ release and leave the backgrounds white. Then she layered on other elements in the background set (like Lady Liberty) along with sayings from the companion message and frame set. Julia had such fun playing with this patriotic set, and she hopes you will too! With not one, but two views of Lady Liberty, Julia’s May 2020 stencil release, called God Bless America, makes a powerfully patriotic statement for the Fourth of July, Memorial Day, or Veteran’s Day. Remember, all of Julia’s Dynamic Duos™ sets are designed in pairs: one set with the graphic elements (in this case, the stars-and-stripes pattern, Statue of Liberty, and Lady Liberty’s bust) and another set with the complementary messages and frames.
