For the three cookies on this plate, Julia fully exploited the stars-and-stripes background stencil in her God Bless America Dynamic Duos™ stencil sets. She also used a star-framed Fourth of July greeting from the complementary message and frame set on the big center round. The lesson here: Be fearless about mixing and matching elements from both sets in each Duos™ release. The number of design permutations is mind-blowing, and you can’t really go wrong. With not one, but two views of Lady Liberty, Julia’s May 2020 stencil release, called God Bless America, makes a powerfully patriotic statement for the Fourth of July, Memorial Day, or Veteran’s Day.
