No worries! How about a crystal tree?! Oftentimes a variety of unexpected elements can make a more exciting arrangement. Julia used gilded twigs, mercury glass ornaments, and spare chandelier crystals to create this centerpiece for her New Year’s cookie swap. For her trademark sweet touch (and to mimic ice), she attached rock candy to the twigs with royal icing. Tucked up close to a sweet bird’s nest, this tree completed Julia’s wintertime table vignette.
