These Christmas ornaments might look real, but they are cookies that have been textured in various ways. For the two to the right, Julia embossed the dough with the SugarVeil Lace Mat, sprayed it with gold luster, and then filled the impressions with SugarVeil Confectionery Icing. On the one to the left, the topmost and bottom “tail” cookies were molded, and the other designs were either stenciled or piped with royal icing.
