Dimensional Mixed Media Cookie

“Texture” is the buzzword in cookie decorating these days. Everyone seems to be talking about it – and I mean everyone! If you’ve been in the cookie world for even a brief period of time, you’ve no doubt been inundated with tutorials that use pressure-piping or the super popular parchment paper-embossing technique to add dimension to cookies. Those techniques are awesome, don’t get me wrong! But, as my ultimate goal in this cookie life is to expand cookiers’ horizons and repertoires, including my own, this brand-new online class strives to take texture beyond what you’ve likely seen and done before. Based on one of my most popular in-person classes, this tutorial achieves texture and dimension through uniquely layered mixed media designs using my signature molded cookies and innovative royal icing embossing and contouring techniques. All in, I demonstrate 12 different techniques, and, if you miss anything in the video, it comes with a detailed 28-page handout with more technique tips, recipes, links to sources, inspiration images, and more. (No one has ever accused me of not being thorough – LOL!)

Please check out the sneak peek video below, and, to shop or get more detailed tutorial info, visit the links that follow, or jump directly to my tutorial library. Also, as an added tease, I’m offering this tutorial for 25% off in the first month following its release (until August 5, that is). Just use code TEXTURE25 at checkout!
