Woo hoo! My 3-D holiday napkin ring cookie, recently taught in a very quick The Bake Fest class, is back by popular demand! On December 7 and 8, I’ll be teaching it in an extended hands-on Zoom format called Perfect Place Cards. Even better news: if you sign up by November 21, you’ll get 15% off both ticket types, general admission and VIP.
Before I direct you to my Eventbrite platform to sign up for Perfect Place Cards, I’d like to share some key details about this class. Over the two days (10 total hours), we’ll make my popular 3-D holiday napkin ring cookie, pictured here, which cleverly does double-duty as a festive place card. We’ll also explore 12+ innovative decorating techniques along the way! Those techniques include contoured cookies, embossed cookies, contoured royal icing transfers, royal icing pine cones, modeling chocolate bows, airbrush shading, modeling with royal icing “putty”, and so much more! Plus, these techniques are quite adaptable, extending nicely to other 3-D and even 2-D cookie designs.
- 10 hours of hands-on instruction with lots of coaching from me;
- a coupon code for 20% off all of my online tutorials;
- a chance to win one of two in-class giveaways ($200 total value);
- forever-access to the class video recordings;
- 10% off a separate one-on-one mentoring session with me; and
- fun with fellow cookiers!
- an extra hour-long session with me at the end of each class day where I’ll share more ways to decorate the rings and an alternative (and very different) place card design that draws on the same napkin ring techniques; and
- a free one-on-one mentoring session with me ($100 value).

MORE INFO AND EARLY BIRD TICKETS HERE. Please note that the 15% early bird-discount is already applied. Also, be sure to read all of the class details on Eventbrite before registering. I look forward to seeing you in class! In the meantime, please peruse the following images of what we’ll create together on December 7 and 8! And, remember, if you can’t make any or all of the live event, every bit is recorded, and all students get access to the recordings within 24 to 48 hours of the last day of class! This means you can watch the class as many times as you want, whenever you want, to make sure you soak up every ounce of valuable instruction.
