March is a magical time here in my home state of Missouri as spring emerges from its long winter nap! Right now, I’m reveling in all of the flowers that have sprouted (seemingly overnight) after a couple of unseasonably warm days! But I digress. Back to business 😀 . . .
To honor the arrival of my favorite season, I’ve got something magical for you too! Buy any five stencils on my partner Confection Couture Stencils’ site (my designs or theirs) and get 15% off all of them with code JUMAGIC15!

Above, I’ve displayed some of my favorite spring, Mother’s Day, and early summer sets (all my designs), but there’s a plethora of gorgeous stencils for every season and occasion behind the link below. And, remember, this sale applies to every single stencil beauty on the site. Enjoy, and happy spring to those in the northern hemisphere!
SHOP all stencils. Again, don’t forget to use code JUMAGIC15 at checkout!
Note: As with all of the urls in all of my stencil sales, the “SHOP” url above is an affiliate link, meaning I earn a small referral fee from any sales generated via it. I encourage you to use this link, as referral fees help to keep me creating for you! TIA!

Hi Julia,
I hope you are doing well! My name is Kimberly Patterson, and I am looking for a cake decorating class. I’m not sure if this is something you do, but I need to learn some basic skills for my job as manager and catering director at Serendipity Homemade Ice Cream.
You made the most amazing cake for my wedding in May of 1998, so your name immediately came to mind! Do you offer classes for amateurs? If not, is there anyone in the St. Louis area that you would recommend?
Thank you so much for time.
Hi, Kimberly! I hope you are well, and thanks for thinking of me! I have been out of cakes since about 2009, and am also ramping down my cookie activity this year, so I will not be offering any more classes to allow me time to start some new ventures. Since I’ve been out of the St. Louis cake scene for so long, all I can really suggest is contacting any of the shops in town that do wedding cakes, and seeing if someone there might do a special class. Or consider taking an online class (there are a lot of them out there, and you can learn a lot on Zoom with proper instruction). Best of luck!
