Questions about competing in my namesake Julia M. Usher’s Cookie Art Competition™?! Great – ‘cause I’ve got answers! Join me live on my Facebook page on Friday, February 17 (12 pm CT) to air all of your lingering competition questions! I’ll review all rules and the judging process then too! I hope to see you there.
In the meantime, check out the key competition links, including the rules, below. And if you’re planning to enter but haven’t yet registered, please register as soon as you can. I’ll be the first to tell you that competition planning is vastly more efficient when we have an early read on how many people will be competing. After all, our goal is to plan the best possible competition for you! Remember: This year, the competition is in person at That Takes the Cake (TTTC) Show, starting on March 31. So there’s still lots of time to create something in our fun International Holidays theme!
Before I leave you, one more very important note . . . Right now, prizes are just over $14,000, thanks to our wonderful sponsors who will be revealed more properly in the coming week or so. As great as that number is, I am still aiming to meet or exceed last year’s record of $20,000. If you’re interested in terrific exposure for your products or services and simultaneously advancing the state of cookie art, then please consider sponsoring the competition. A small contribution goes a very long way toward helping cookiers hone their skills and realize their dreams! The 2023 Sponsor Offering is also in a link below. TIA for considering!
