Back in 2015, Julia rang in the New Year with these fancy cast sugar bells. Fashioned out of a sugar and water mixture, just as one would make panorama sugar eggs, these ornaments were additionally embellished with punched frosting sheets, wafer paper, fondant appliqués, and royal icing transfers. For all of the details, check out Julia’s YouTube video. (Though entirely edible, cast sugar is hard and so it is primarily used for tabletop and party décor, as Julia did here. She hung these bells from her chandelier where the luster spray on them reflected the nearby light and cast a festive glow on her table underneath.)
