Yes, this chocolate lace-wrapped cake is the star that launched Julia’s YouTube channel back in 2013 when the video featuring it went viral. Though Julia started making multi-tier chocolate lace cakes back in the late 1990s when she had her wedding cake business, it took social media to make them a phenomenon! After this debut, Julia went on to show how to make multicolor chocolate wraps in other videos, but this video is where you should begin if you want to learn the basics of this technique. Enjoy!
