The various design elements in Julia’s Chinese New Year Dynamic Duos™ stencil release could, of course, just be directly airbrushed and stenciled on cookies. But Julia often likes to add dimension. Here, she’s done so by airbrushing some of the lanterns onto royal icing transfers, and the message of “LOVE” onto a fondant appliqué. She’s also placed wafer paper blossoms here and there!
