Aren’t these green and gold cookie ornaments just glorious?! They get their festive shimmer from a combination of gold PME luster spray (for the stenciled areas) and gold highlighter paint (to accent the molded cookie parts). While Julia makes stenciling on contoured cookies look easy, her method took quite a lot of trial and error to perfect. Normal Mylar stencils don’t like to conform to curved shapes, which means it’s next to impossible to get a clean-looking stenciled result with them. But Julia’s testing and re-testing eventually prevailed. She ultimately found a workable stencil material and developed a reliable stenciling approach.
