Of course, no Christmas at Julia’s house is complete without a veritable evergreen forest being brought indoors! In 2021, she decorated the entirety of her Maine house with fresh evergreens (for their fragrance) and then accented them with ribbons and ornaments in slaty blue-gray, silver, and white, a palette very much in keeping with the natural landscape at that time of year. When decorating for the holidays, or any party for that matter, Julia is careful to choose a color scheme that harmonizes with its natural environment.
