Once again, Julia was beyond-surprised and so very honored when she heard the news in September 2025 that she had made the finalist cut for the Cookie Award in the 2025 Cake Collaborator Magazine Awards. Because this awards program is conducted entirely online, it is international in scope. And, unlike other programs, it considers artists’ work over a five year period. Adriano Zumbo, Australian pâtissier and TV personality known for his macarons and challenging desserts, presides over the judging team, so Julia realizes all too well that every aspect of her work will be closely scrutinized. Wish her well as she waits on pins and needles for the official winner reveal on October 10, 2025.
