In mid-2025, Julia was invited to serve as US Ambassador and Cookie Industry Representative for the Australian Cake Artists & Decorators Association (ACADA), the premier cake industry association in Australia and New Zealand, and also host of International Cake Show Australia (ICSA), one of the largest cake shows in the world. Julia is among a handful of international sugar artists who have been extended this invitation, which makes the appointment an honor as well as a serious commitment. Julia looks forward to applying her skills in business strategy and sponsor development (hard-earned while working at Bain & Company, an international management consultancy, from 1987 to 1997) to helping ACADA expand its impact worldwide.
