After having been “discovered” by a Food Network production company at the Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show in 2018, Julia and her longstanding cookie competition, aka Julia M. Usher’s Cookie Art Competition™, became the subjects of a Food Network documentary in the summer of 2019. The documentary tracked Julia and a handful of competition entrants as they prepped their entries for the show and were evaluated by Julia’s expert team of judges. The show culminated in the awarding of over $10,000 in prizes to three lucky and very talented winners.
