After having announced her cookie-retirement in early 2026, Julia was flabbergasted to have been nominated for this first-ever international teaching award given by the Australian Cake Artists & Decorators Association (ACADA). Even though it was honor enough to be recognized along with nearly 20 stellar cake and cookie art instructors across the globe, Julia would be lying if she didn’t admit that she’s eager to hear who will make it to the finals. The four finalists will be determined solely by popular vote, and the ultimate winner will be crowned at the ACADA Awards Gala on August 1, 2026. ‘Til then, Julia waits with bated breath and crossed fingers!
