During her early decorating years, Julia had a thing for panorama cookies (stacked frame-style cookies) like this one for Easter. Here, she decorated the bottom cookie using printed wafer paper and embellished the top frame with a simple royal icing rose and piped leaves. Then she set one double-decker cookie at each setting on her Easter table to make charming edible party favors.
