Even an ordinary armchair can look blinged out for the holidays with jewel-bedecked gifts on top. Instead of putting her 2024 Christmas gifts under the classic pine tree where they might get lost, Julia thought their gilded baubles and wrapping papers would look more glamorous if offset by the brown velvet of her living room chair. (They also looked great under her mini bejeweled Styrofoam tree in the previous photo.)
