Once guests got past the cookie welcome sign at the front door of this party, they were greeted with more cookies – literally everywhere! For this over-the-top cookie swap, styled for St. Louis AT HOME magazine in 2005, Julia started by fashioning a focal centerpiece of towering cookie trees. Then, from the chandelier overhead, she dangled cookie stars and angels to “keep watch” over the forest at night. But that’s not all! If you look underneath the trees, you’ll see yet another cookie type. Powdered sugar-drenched snowball cookies complete the wintry landscape, bringing everything together into one sensory delight!
