When Julia was writing her second book Ultimate Cookies, cupcakes were all the rage, and she wanted nothing more than to give them a run for their money by creating clever cookie projects for her book. And here you see one of those projects! These cupcake lookalikes are actually rolled cookies stacked neatly inside chocolate cupcake liners, and then topped off with baked meringue swirls! Clever, indeed. (Cupcakes, you better watch your back; cookies are about to eclipse you in popularity!)
