“Easy, but striking eats” was the motto for Julia as she prepped for her holiday open house for St. Louis AT HOME. Of course she wanted the party to look great (after all, it was being featured in a magazine), but she also didn’t want to be slaving in the kitchen well into the evening when she could be enjoying her guests.
