Overview: Join Julia in Brisbane, Australia at the International Cake Show Australia (ICSA), hosted by the Australian Cake Artists & Decorators Association (ACADA)! In this last two-day course in her series of three classes at ICSA, Julia will guide students step by step through the decorating and assembly of two of her most popular 3-D cookie projects: a fancy sugar bowl and a holiday ornament, which can be tailored to any season. On Day One, Julia will demonstrate how the more unusual contoured, embossed, and molded cookie pieces are shaped and baked. Students will shape a few smaller pieces to gain experience with these methods, but will spend most of the first day icing already-baked pieces and making embellishments (mini roses and royal icing transfers) in preparation for more detailed decorating work and assembly on Day Two.
Skill Level: This class is most suitable for intermediate and advanced cookie decorators.
