After a false start at its usual in-person home at That Takes the Cake (TTTC) Show, Julia’s annual cookie competition went virtual in 2022. (When TTTC canceled due to COVID for the second year in a row, Julia insisted that the “show must go on” and so it did!) Registration officially re-opened on June 15, 2022 with the same Broadway & Musicals theme and the same categories and skills classifications as previously announced on the TTTC site.
The competition closed for entries on October 15, with an array of entrants that has never been more diverse. Countries as far-ranging as Iran, Japan, China, the United States, and others were represented. Judging commenced on October 19 and culminated on December 1 with the grand winner reveal where nearly $20,000 in prizes was awarded.
