Overview: At the end of 2025, Julia was delighted to learn that her site Cookie Connection was named a finalist in the Online Community category in the esteemed D’licious Magazine Awards (DMAs) program. It’s the only cookie community among a sea of cake communities in the finals, which is testament to the heart and soul that so many Cookie Connection members and contributors have put into the site over the years. Julia extends her wholehearted congratulations to everyone who has worked hard to make Cookie Connection such a special place.
Necessary acknowledgments now behind us, let’s talk about the party! Not one to miss a good celebration, Julia is traveling all the way to Kent, England in mid-February to hear the winner announcements firsthand at the historic Allington Castle. Win or lose, she expects to have a grand time at this black-tie event – a star-studded evening promising fabulous food, crazy games and antics (if last year is any example), and shoulder-rubbing with your favorite sugar artists! Julia sincerely hopes to meet you there. Ticket sales are now open to finalists, but will soon open to the general public.
