Overview: Take your cookie decorating skills to new levels in this one-day hands-on fundamentals class in Brisbane, Australia at the International Cake Show Australia (ICSA), hosted by the Australian Cake Artists & Decorators Association (ACADA)! In this first course in Julia’s series of three classes at ICSA, you’ll get a crash course in 12-plus decorating techniques that are sure to expand your cookie repertoire. Along the way, Julia will address the different icing consistencies required to master such techniques as outlining, flooding, stenciling, needlepoint, dimensional transfers, and beadwork.
Skill Level: This class is most suitable for beginners, though intermediate and advanced decorators seeking a refresher on decorating fundamentals will find it valuable too.
Prerequisites: None, though some experience with royal icing will surely help.
