Overview: Julia is super excited to return to Holiday Cookie-A-Thon as both an instructor and a sponsor. For those not in the know, Cookie-A-Thon is the world’s largest online cookie decorating event, spanning four days (November 2 to 5) and including over 50 demos and 37 hours of instruction. In her 30-minute live session, you’ll have the opportunity to ask Julia, the OG of cookies, anything! (Well, within reason, that is! LOL.) In her 27 years in the sweets business, Julia has done just about everything – run a brick-and-mortar bakery, write books, publish an app, design products, license her name and techniques, teach classes, host and judge competitions, film a Food Network documentary, and more. With her successes have come a fair number of failures, and Julia’s willing to dish it all to help you jumpstart your cookie career – and avoid her mistakes! Whether your dream is to open a cookie shop or to teach internationally, or to simply find your jam within the big and beautiful cookie world, Julia is all yours for this special session, so ask away! The live four-day event is free; however, with the purchase of an All-Access Pass, attendees get early viewing of demo materials and access to event recordings for the lifetime of Cookie-A-Thon. Also, new this year: The Cookie-A-Thon team is offering a companion kit for the event that includes many of the stencils, cutters, and other tools used by the instructors in their sessions, as well as an All-Access Pass. The kits are in limited supply, so act fast if you want one. Priced at $297 each, the kits are a great deal, as the tools alone have a retail value of $400.
