Overview: Julia is thrilled to report that she’s returning to teach at The Bake Fest once again – this time for their special holiday edition! She has taught at this online event since its inception, and can’t endorse it highly enough. With about 30 top-notch instructors sharing tips on everything from cookie and cake decorating to pricing and food photography, this event is sure to leave you with more tools for growing your sweets business than you ever imagined. Plus, it will be recorded so you can access all of the classes for up to a year after the event.
As for Julia, she’ll be teaching a two-part, hands-on class over two days – for a total of three and a half hours of glorious instruction! Alongside Julia, you’ll make a charming 3-D snow globe cookie that’s perfect for holiday hostess gifts, party favors, and even centerpieces. In the process, you’ll be exposed to 10 decorating and construction techniques that can be applied to cookie projects of any type (3-D or 2-D) and for any occasion.
Note: Julia’s demo will focus on the brown snow globe variation, though both styles shown below will be addressed. Students will need to prep some cookies and icing in advance if they want to follow along real time in class. Once registered, students will get access via The Bake Fest to Julia’s detailed handout with prep instructions.
Skill Level: All; though the project looks tricky, Julia will tailor her pace and instruction so that even beginner and intermediate decorators can follow along.
