In 2008, Julia was honored with an invitation to join the very exclusive Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDEI) as a founding member of the St. Louis, Missouri chapter. Considered the preeminent global professional association for women leaders in the food, beverage, and hospitality industries, LDEI is quite selective about those it asks to join its ranks. Members are drawn from the highest echelons of the food world, and are expected to inspire and advance other women in the food industry through demonstrated excellence in leadership and philanthropy.
