In the magazine’s words, “a Sugar Hero (or Idol) isn’t just a baker – they are an architect of joy. We call them ‘idols’ because they represent the sweetest version of ourselves. This person has made a huge impact on the sugar world.” Julia now waits on pins and needles for the ultimate winner announcement in October; until then, she can hardly believe this lofty description of herself!
