Back in 2019, Julia was nominated for five TASTE AWARDS for her YouTube video work, and ultimately was awarded one of them: Breakout Foodie of the Year (though, ironically, she had been making videos for about six years by the time she earned this breakout distinction)! Anywho, fast forward five years later, and she’s been made an honorary member of the Academy of Media Tastemakers and asked to judge this year’s 16th Annual TASTE AWARDS. Widely regarded as the Oscars of lifestyle media, the TASTE AWARDS celebrate the year’s best food, drink, fashion, and lifestyle programming on television, in film, in streaming and online video, in podcasts, on radio, and in photography. So, yeah, these awards are super all-encompassing and kind of a big deal for Julia. It probably goes without saying, but she’s thrilled about being entrusted with this new and tremendous responsibility.
