Here’s Julia’s Give Thanks Prettier Plaques™ stencil set in action yet again – this time with a couple of design spins worth explaining! First, the foreground cookie is solid evidence that these sets work wonderfully with a number of mediums. Julia stenciled its message and background with airbrush coloring, but, for the frame, she turned to royal icing for a little more texture and dimension. She also used royal icing for overpiped line work and round transfers – both pleasing dimensional additions. And, second, the middle cookie just goes to show how fun it can be to mix things up. On it, Julia used a message from one of her other Thanksgiving sets, but the rest of the design elements came from her Give Thanks set.
